Baby Room in Progress!

So I started out with a computer room/ craft room........

After about another 2 hours of moving things I finally have gotten just baby stuff and craft stuff in the baby's room.........


(Thanks to our lovely cat she did a number on the curtains all around the house just like the one you see below)

(The chair you see in the picture came from my wonderful mother in law who had it re upholstered for us she had it before they got married and gave it to us when we got married) 

I did not purposely get the vacuum in the picture in both shots but it's kinda funny anyway. 

We hope to paint the walls green, surprisingly I have already gotten the paint and the rollers now for some expert advice and a little patience we will be ready to paint the room! So Excited, I know we have another 5 or so months left but we want our little gift to have the best when he/she will be coming.

On another note my ultrasound is June 18 and we've decided with much deliberation that we are not going to find out the baby's gender. Our baby is a gift from God and we want to be surprised!

Tulip time Tuesday!

It was such a good day hanging with one of my Good friends Mel! We went to her house for lunch and had burgers. They were delicious, and not to mention Mrs. Janssens first batch of the year peach tea! After we ate we went down town for a little Tulip time!

While strolling around we met up with Mel's little sister Keana to watch her dutch dance, bunches of fun!

Yes the tulips are so beautiful, so colorful and bright. What a happy dutch dancer!

An end of a Great Day!

Did someone say BABY?!?

Yes that is right you heard right, Eric and I are going to be proud parents this upcoming November! This means a lot of preparation on out part and  planning. We are starting by moving Eric's computer out to move the baby's room in! So far this has taken 2 and a half hours to look like this........

It's a start, the plan is while Eric is gone to BPA I'll be able to tackle more and get things organized and painted. Sooo excited for that to happen!!

This was only one bit of the day we also went to the doctors today and she said everything is looking great!  Though she had quite the time getting the heart beat due to the baby moving so much! Glad the baby is so active! Here is a sneak peak at the baby's first picture...

God is working in so many different ways in our life! Praise the Lord!
